Can someone help me decide which HomeKit Doorbell to get? All the choices are overwhelming.

@paul I’m in Austin, Texas and have been using this doorbell for two or three years. The first year it would overheat and shut off all the time. It’s on a very covered patio and didn’t get direct sun, so that was frustrating.

However, after it cooled down that first year it never became an issue again when it got hotter the following spring/summer. I guess they were able to fix something in a software update.

I’ve been happy with it ever since.

If you have a new with the action button in the side and not the silence switch and you are a normal human being who doesn’t permit their phone to make a sound… you may have notice a muted bell icon up by the time.

Well, you can turn that off in settings.

Settings > Sounds and Haptics

    This is awful; I'm sorry. Twitter killing third-party apps (Tweetbot) killed my remaining desire to use Twitter; not being able to use Apollo would be the same for Reddit and me - I hope it doesn't come to that.

    I'm an Apollo Ultra Lifetime member and would happily pay a recurring subscription fee.

    @annika I think I blew past that screen pretty quickly when I was registering a horse I tamed because I figured it was the exact same dialogue as BotW. I’ll be traveling to a stable soon to double check!
