Either the aussies haven't sound insulated the commentary boxes very well, or the Spanish commentators are really loud, because underneath the usual sharp and sober analysis from the BBC commentators I can hear an undercurrent of fast, excited yelling in Spanish LOL

This is my birthday treat to myself: watching Horror Express on @BBCRD iPlayer. Why am I watching it on the iPlayer when I have the swanky restored spangly bluray, you ask? Because the print the BBC have is the one where they've spelt Christopher Lee's name wrong and it's covered in scratches and dings, and this is what I remember from childhood. Watching it beautifully restored feels WRONG. So here is my treat

They tell you before you get one that sighthounds are "really lazy," but I don't think you really grok it till you have one (or more) in the family. Like "they sleep 16-18 hours a day" is a fact that doesn't prepare you for the reality. "They really like blankets" actually means an exponential increase in the numbers of duvets and therefore duvet covers that need washing in the house.

It genuinely astounds me how much the transphobes in our party are monomaniacally obsessed with @goatsarah .

Apparently those of us who do not want to exclude trans people from public life are all Sarah's acolytes, and doing her bidding.

The fact that Sarah left not just the party but the country several years ago matters not one jot, whit, or iota to them. They just can't imagine that people might come to a conclusion by themselves, therefore there must be a sinister mastermind controlling everything, and it must be Sarah.
