It was no surprise that #VNVNation would put on an amazing show, but neither of us expected Ronan to hand the kiddo one of the drum sticks at the end of the show. Such a great memento for her first time seeing them!

(Also kudos to the kiddo for grabbing a spot up front while I dealt with merch and coat check; being up at the very front was fun!)

Despite the best efforts of our Uber driver to get lost on the way to the airport, we’re safely home from our long weekend jaunt to Las Vegas. We did some sightseeing, visited the Meow Wolf installation, and saw U2 at The Sphere. It was a great trip, but we’re glad to be back home with the kitties.

Started watching “Delicious in Dungeon” today, and it’s a big hit in our house. Charming, earnest, funny, absolutely delivering on the premise of “D&D meets The Joy of Cooking”. I’m a little confused, and perhaps concerned, that Netflix has it tagged as MA, given how wholesome the first four episodes have been.

Finally started watching Scavengers Reign. They really nailed it with alien aliens! It’s like a drug-fueled Studio Ghibli sci-fi survival horror nightmare, and in spite of how squishy and gross as it is, I’m really digging it.

Opened up what seemed like a factory-new Lego set that I purchased a while back, only to discover that someone has replaced all the contents with miscellaneous mass and some random bricks so that it made the right noise when shaken. Sadly it’s far past the return date, and has recently gone out of print, so a replacement will be an annoying extra expense.
