Mom's settlement cheque arrived. A whole $5.86 - after $2 processing fee 😏

"The website says the lawsuit occurred after the personal information, including health card numbers, of 8.6 million customers was stolen.

Payments are much smaller than what was originally promised on the settlement approval notice, which was compensation of $50 to $150."

Please see this example of how I don't tolerate covid spreading asshats who claim to work in healthcare & claim to still wear masks but they question validity of mask mandates - people like this are why patients in hospitals & vulnerable home care needs will get infected by selfish asshats.

While Republicans are responsible for mask bans, the Biden White House is also complicit.

They prematurely told the public to unmask in 2021, they encouraged governors to repeal mask mandates, they said states should decide mask policies, they forced workers back into offices.

You're talking to someone who had public hospital infect my Dad with covid & we are in a longterm battle with government public health for multiple failures. It's month 10, now.

@skye I'm glad you posted about what kinda boats orcas actually hit & they aren't billionaire owned ones. Actually, been talking to longtime whales specific scientists in my area of BC/PNW & none of us are very happy about how orcas are injuring themselves to death by hitting boats with their bodies. I am actually very worried because behaviour is abnormal & it has caused many whale deaths & whale disabilities - that media doesn't report about.

@skye We are looking into orca suicidal behaviors. We aren't looking at human oligarchy because whales don't give a fuxk about human money shit.

Humans need to learn that not everything is about them. Humans need to learn more from wildlife & the ecosystems they live in & around, a lot more. I'm a human.

2 of the 3 juvenile orcas that biologists identified as responsible for over 50% of boat ramming in that area, when this behavior first increased there - Gladis Black and Gladis White—experienced a succession of physical injuries between June 20 and August 3, 2020. Multinational CEMMA team mapped the injuries and identified wounds likely caused by run-ins with boats. These injuries were the result of the orcas ramming into passing boats.

1st dragonboat races, happening on May 26. I have to be on location all day, as when I'm not paddling in race, will be doing drum/beat calling for races I don't paddle in. I'm also doing several other volunteer duties on our first race day so would love to create a big playlist for the whole day!
