Übrigens, Leute in Deutschland, die aktuell ca 20.000kWh Gas im Jahr für Heizkosten aufwenden, werden bis 2040 zusätzlich zu den Gaskosten ca. 15.000EUR CO2 Steuer abführen müssen. Das sollte in Eure Berechnung, ob und wann sich eine Wärmepumpe lohnt, mit eingehen.

Zum Wochenbeginn eine Anmerkung zum Thema #AbenteuerFernfusion: Die Großhandelspreise für ein 400W Panel sind in den letzten 12 Monaten von 180EUR auf 80EUR gefallen (+-30 %). Falls ihr also letztes Frühjahr überlegt und gerechnet habt und das alles irgendwie nicht hin kam oder zuviel Bürokratie bedeutete: Nochmal prüfen, mit Solarpakt I und den aktuellen Kosten rechnet sich vieles neu.

Bei der Anmeldung Zeichen aus dem Kennwort zu filtern weil sie nicht zugelassen sind ist schon an sich irgendwie doof; noch doofer ist es aber wenn diese Zeichen bei der Registrierung des Zugangs ohne zu Monieren angenommen wurden.

Wo wir gerade bei #fernfusion sind -- ich habe mir erlaubt, mit dem meistbeworbenen Anbieter von "einmal alles kaufen und aufgebaut bekommen" PV Anlagen zu sprechen und ... die sind bei ihrem präferierten Mietmodell 4-5 mal teurer als was man so auf dem Markt bekommt.

Im Vergleich habe ich ein Richtwertangebot für eine 2.3x mehr Leistung versprechende Anlage mit denkmalschutzfreundlichen Solarziegeln angefragt, dass trotz aufwendiger Dacharbeiten etc. aus dem Stand 20% billiger war.

Ich schaue gerade ein Video über Balkonsolaranlagen, wo jemand seinen Invest (560EUR) gegen seine Stromersparnis im ersten Jahr (65EUR) rechnet, und das als Rendite von über 11% betrachtet.

Vielleicht ist das ja ein Gedankengang für alle die die sich fragen, ob sich die Sache lohnt ...

I'm considering building a feature for a SaaS app that lets you "invite" a customer support person to be able to see your private data in order to help you debug an issue - where everything they look at is logged in an audit log that's visible to you and you also get to see when they "resign" from their temporary access

Is this a common feature? Has anyone seen good implementations of this kind of pattern before?

@thisismissem completely agree with you that impersonation needs to be a noisy, audit-triggering process. Signing in as user needs to be handled as an exceptional /incident style event. Trailing controls annotating and justifying these events can be sufficient if you have people that primarily deal with these kinds of events. @janl @simon

where to sell a model?

My Filament Stackers are ready to go, but I've reached an impasse. Thangs.com wants me to set up ongoing plans that people subscribe to. MyMiniFactory wants me to pay like $25 a month.

Are there any 3D printing focused sites that would just let me sell a model for $6 and just take a cut of the sale with no monthly fees or buyer subscriptions?

@masukomi cults3d has a history of not paying put to creators and doxxing them during the dispute. Printables has a system for paid models now.

@isotopp ich merke an, dass ein Server mit ca 8 GPUs um und bei 250.00 bis 350.000 liegt. Eine vergleichbare GPU bei AWS buchen, kostet im Monat ca 30.000EUR. Bei 10% Auslastung bin ich also im Selbstbetrieb Inc aller Overheadkosten nach ca 3-4 Jahren im Break Even.

Andersrum gerechnet, 100 Millionen Euro Cloud kosten sind gerade mal 3000 GPUs, also 350 Maschinen wie oben, die mir dann aber gehören und nicht nach einem Jahr wieder das Gleiche kosten.

@isotopp also bleibt nur https://indieweb.org/POSSE, aber auch selber hosten ist schwierig, weil auch Hosting Provider ToS haben und die mehr oder weniger gut verteidigen (siehe https://woem.men/notes/9ragjwecxwul3nis). Mein Bauch sagt mir, wir haben in 5 Jahren wieder Leute mit Servern unterm Bett.
