Buy my old Technics 1200 Mk2 turntable. I’m willing to ship it in North America but I’d want to pay to have it packed by UPS. The anti-skating control is not working but these are very serviceable machines. Otherwise fully working, in great condition with a very new Olofon Red needle.

@Robotron so it turns out the anti-skating knob on my Technics SL-1200mk2 is broken. So I either need to find someone on the area who can fix it or I need to replace it. I’ve said for a while I need a turntable that better suits how I use it, since I’m not a dj. So leaning toward the later. Any thoughts on a <$500 turntable?

Back in 9th grade, 1980, I bought my first Runaways album from a cutout bin, Queens of Noise. I soon got the 2 other major label albums, the debut & Waiting for the Night. I didn’t love them like The Ramones, Hendrix but I spent a lot of time studying these records. In Toronto that summer found Live in Japan, sorta rare at the time. Sold them all about 6 years ago. I was done with The Runaways. However I’ve never seen this footage before. Looks like crap, but nostalgia.

So many times I see someone boosted into my timeline saying some variation of "Hey! looking for my people. I'm interested in XYZ. Seems kinda quiet around here." And I look at their profile and they're following less than 100 people. Honestly, I think it's one of the biggest drivers for people leaving this platform, not getting over the hurdle that you have to follow A LOT of people. There's no algorithm filling in the blanks.
