One of my earliest proofs of the importance of was when ’s husband (the late ) told me how he learned to put in the marketing material — a candidate’s number on ballot)

Why?

Because in cities like , many voters aren’t familiar with Latin letters (and names spelled in English) but numbers are almost universally recognized

Seeing Olivia’s campaign listing her name with “25” was a nice reminder of how much she influenced him

Everyone knows user stories have dirfted far from being the user's actual story

Still, @PavelASamsonov smartly suggests they still have value — if you look at them a differrent way: Frame features as the "costs" to accomplish what the user actually wants, and you'll be inspired to imagine how to reduce the expense needed to complete the goal

Like many Americans, I speak Spanish with an Italian accent, but I’m confident I will never butcher a pronunciation as badly as my British English Siri does when announcing the Spanish language kids song album our younger son has on repeat.

@jimray This is comforting (I speak French with Italian salted into every sentence even tho my Italian probably sounds more French than North American English)

That said i don’t know if I could ever classify what Google and Siri do to French translations of Quebecois words!
