@selzero If you make a video of a newcomer with an existing account on instance A seeing a mastodon profile on the web on instance B and trying to follow it you will understand how beginners find it hard. I still find it hard but it rarely happens as I follow people from within my app 99% of the time.

Part of my search for my creative voice involves a self reflective process of reconnection and reinvention, while cutting out the noise I have allowed onboard over the decades.
