You get the impression from today's Tories (Sunak, Truss et al) that they don't really like Britain or its people very much. They regard the British people as lazy, "woke", workshy and ungrateful.
Hence all their talk about doing away with doctors' sick notes, discouraging work-from-home, "Singapore on the Thames" etc. They would much rather be governing an imaginary authoritarian country somewhere in Asia with zero workers rights.

Remember, at the core of the psychology of voting for the right, is the idea that "I'm not one of the poors, I'm just a millionaire with a temporary cash flow squeeze".

WOW! just perused the image gallery for the #MetGala over at Harper's Bazaar and it's not only super-uninspiring, but for maybe a couple of people who understood the assignment. it's the beauty aesthetics of most of the people attending that is very late-stage capitalism with a bad take on trans-humanism. the 1% and their millionaire lackeys are really into that waxy Real Doll skin aesthetics. baffling.
@masterdon1312 this is a good plan because Libertarians tend to own guns, so walk a mile in their shoes and THEN judge them, because you will be a mile away and they will have no shoes.
Dear people who think George Galloway is cool - and I know you're out there - today he's announced that the Workers' Party has a policy to leave NATO, and that he doesn't think children should be taught that gay relationships are "normal" in an interview with Novara Media.
Have a word with yourselves.
