WHAT?! Vennells has been shown a doc that she saw in 2011 which says Fujitsu staff have unrestricted access to the Oracle database. She now says she didn't realise that it meant that the system wasn't 100% secure from remote transactions not done by the subpostmasters. FFS. She wasn't fit to run a fucking village post office let alone the whole operation.

There is a big name in the SEO industry that was caught doing this a few years ago and he did exactly that - blamed it on staff and interns.

He lost a lot/all of his reputation in the industry and rightly so.

I’m struggling to find the right words to describe the work I do these days…

Fundamentally, I’m still a designer and developer. But most of my work has become oriented around teaching designers and developers. I used to say “writer & speaker” but this feels vague. “Content creator” is ick, and also undervalues the educational element. But “educator” sounds too academic and perhaps a touch lofty for me.

Anyone else in a similar position found some good words? I’d appreciate any suggestions!

I discovered something else: this website was blocking me based on my location, and when I checked the response HTML, I could see the content. It's just that I can't see the content right in front of my screen.

As another internet user, what's the use of this? I can see that the response HTML is there, but why can't I see the content right in front of me?

I don't like the whole "blocking users based on their locations"

Look for deals - Nord VPN do them occasionally and that’s what I currently use. Really useful for diagnosing geo isseus like yours.

Doing some last-minute keyword research for Father's Day - hate to break the news to all you dads out there, but there is a big search volume around terms with the word 'cheap' in them! 🤣

There was a similar thing many many years ago online, I think early 2000's, where they would ask about 40 questions and then pinpoint which town you came from. Highly impressive it was, as i got me bang on and we had a right mix of dialects because of the coal mines in Kent! In the chip shop we would order Rig but up the coast a bit it was Rock Salmon and down the coast a bit it was Huss.
