your internet connection is really really bad, and you still want to see what's happening on the fedi, but your browser simply won't load mastodon, misskey, friendica, pleroma etc?
you may try kbin instead > this fedi platform is ultra lightweight #kbin#fediverse
and even in countries where c140 is in force, it's not all good > e.g. in germany, two states keep violating the ratified convention: bavaria (germany's economic powerhouse) and saxony prefer to suppress workers' rights > both german states share a history of far-right leaning governments, accompanied by far-right terrorism #labor#ilo
Party for Freedom is an association with Geert Wilders as its sole member; thus the party is ineligible for Dutch government funding, and relies on donations.[
geert wilders is the worst - legally, he is not obliged to disclose where donations come from
Still no progress/updates on this btw - my data on 2 accounts are essentially still stuck/"held hostage" on #firefish.social 🙃
Following up again - @kainoa@thatonecalculator is there really nothing kind folks at firefish.social can do to check on why these multiple notes exports that were done for the past almost ~3 weeks now still have not completed, seeing that according to you it should only take no longer than 15 mins.
I genuinely need an export of my notes on these 2 accounts: @irfan and @afrina. Thank you.
Update (Nov 24 2023):
This might be an instance-specific issue, but since all I've got is Firefish's #GitLab repo, and it is the Flagship instance after all, I've reported the issue on there.
this massive club tune was co-produced by daniel scholz who later rose to fame as producer of the dadaist children song of the 21st century: schnappi, das kleine krokodil - schnappi, the little crocodile
testing keeps on testing, using some hashtags > let's see whether these hashtags help to improve visibility of kbin posts on other fedi platforms #test#kbin#federation
re: last boost > saying that germans support genocides - that's a tough one, and rightly so
west german elites are in power in today's germany, and well, they have supported the worst of the worst all the time > do you still remember who had been south africa's most loyal ally during the times of apartheid? it was west germany ... #germany
So maybe instead of more forks that focus on rolling out new features, could the devs of Foundkey, #Firefish, #Iceshrimp, et al work on your architecture so that even a relatively small (in comparison to some of the Misskey and Mastodon servers) 1500 user server, let alone a 4000 user one can function without falling over, suffering extended timeouts, having server costs blow out thanks to database performance issues, and then decimate it's community when folks are forced to migrate, and then those folks struggle to get their data exported.
So much front end work and not enough backend is the present legacy of the pre-Misskey v 13 forks.
