Found myself doing yoga in a security cam section. I didn’t realize it could see that far.

Thankfully HomeKit Secure Video so it’s encrypted locally.

Think I might use it to judge and humiliate myself into improvement.

Does anybody else ever think how messed up it is that unless you go out of your way (or live in a very rural area), you are bombarded with ads for the entire time you are awake.

  • Ads on your phone
  • Ads on your TV
  • Ads on every place they can buy outside
  • Ads on almost every website

It is honestly exhausting, and I wonder what a world with heavily limited ads would look like.

Incidentally, the lack of ads is one of the very nice things about self hosting things, and being on fedi.

I'm a sucker for a town main street single-screen movie house you can still go to and Madonna movies, so this screening of A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN (1992) at the Island here on Chincoteague is a can't miss for me. Just like in Hollywood, one star is immortalized in cement prints out front - the titular Misty of the 1947 novel and then 1961 film 🐴🎬

At the visitor's center for the NASA Wallops Flight Facility here on Virginia's Eastern Shore! This station is NASA's most active, and specializes in rocketry - particularly "sounding rockets" that carry out experiments in the space too high for balloons but too low for satellites. It's also from here the US launches cargo deliveries for the International Space Station 🚀
