What game was hardest for you to wrap your head around? I've seen a lot of people struggle with Mage and Burning Wheel, as examples. What about you? What was hard for you to grasp? Or what has been hard for your players in the past?

This is catastrophic. Touring and table sales were bread & butter. These are signed bands with radio play who can't make ends meet & lose money touring. It's unhinged. Art has been devalued beyond belief.

Nobody gives me guff for crossposting. Because I actually individually engage people and occasionally comment on posts on each platform posted on. I'm not part of some nefarious clique. It's just, like, put in some effort. The fediverse isn't that hostile to crossposting. It's the crosspost & run, just a repost for your actual platform, that people gripe about. If you replied to people & had real convos, it'd be no problem. Hope that helps.

@BrettCoulstock @sysop408 @pluralistic in every instance I've seen someone complain about supposed feed spamming, it's someone who follows very few people and willingly chose to follow a prolific poster. This is no exception. The air isn't getting sucked out of the Mastodon feed. It's that you've left no room for air in the room you built.

@sysop408 I finally found a link on an instance that would let me see the missing replies. It's not simple because the post IDs are different for the same post on different instances. I'm on Dice.Camp and like so many others, we restrict Mastodon.Social. [I also have to approve follows.] I do wish there was a user setting to see notifications and replies from restricted instances.

@sysop408 I like my instance and it's filled with my interest peers. But I do get frustrated with those restrictions at times. If account portability and viewing outside instance feeds were better, I'd find the gumption to pick another instance.

I love how much food we eat that is a small random generational mutation away from being asininely toxic. All those nightshades! Like potatoes. It's SO EASY to accidentally crossbreed potatoes that make your insides twist it's even happened to would be commercial cultivars.

I need people to understand the Internet was once WILD. As in literally a place where someone had a .org dedicated to providing advice on loving dolphins. Really loving dolphins. Loving dolphins in a very direct, very intimate way. Including warnings about the dangers of dolphin dick.
