Seeing negative reviews of the AI gadgets, the Humane Pin and the R1 rabbit, it reminds me that the Apple Watch is similar, it's just that telling time and tracking runs is just barely enough of a thing to make me keep using it, otherwise it's just a tiny second monitor for phone alerts and a backup microphone for Siri

Ok I processed my eclipse photos! Canon 5D MkIV with a Sigma 150-600mm lens plus a 2x teleconverter plus a solar filter. #eclipse

@exchgr I was joking too but in seriousness they're... not dissimilar, just of very different magnitudes. The feeling of unease when the clouds make it suddenly darker is similar to a total solar eclipse. An eclipse is MUCH stronger in that feeling and your body reacts with a LOT more unease as the whole world gets weird around you.

Welcome to another edition of "the design" vs "what the user decided to do", bike edition.
Most people with bicycles hate those thin bike racks, even when they don't have fat tyres. It's very impracticable, and it often damages the tyres. Yet, it's cheap, so, most places continue using them instead of actual usable arcs that work for all bike sizes.
