You haven't noted how you are accessing JF, so if using a browser a quick test might be to try playing the file locally not using JF web. The web player dosent support all formats, so it could point to a media conversion problem. I use JF media player on PC for this reason as it supports more formats like DSD.
Dual boot is the gateway I stepped through many years ago. It's been months now since I chose team MS. I do lot of dev, gaming, and media work, and it's all faster on the linux side. With the recent forced data mining "feature" update, I really doubt I'll keep it around for my next upgrade.
So I'm just offering dual boot may be a good scenario. And also, popping in another drive is better than messing with your windows drive.

If I'm on page 14 for instance of "new" and go to "hot", I'm now on page 14 there. I think that the first page would be expected by most people?
