tygerprints,

If it's to stop demons from raising your bed off the ground - it's not going to work. They'd rather take the body anyway and leave the bed where it is.

I know what Reagan went through, as a kid my bed would shake and rise a bit also - I had these dreams about dead people singing and inevitably, I'd wake up to my bed moving around on its own.

I don't believe in such a thing as demons, but I remember how scared my brother was of what was happening. The voices were loud enough he could hear them also.

tygerprints,

Now why, (me doing a Jack Benny impression): why, ya see - why would I go and buy stock in a company that hated everything I ever posted, and then banned me for saying that progessive thought is a good thing. I ask you.

tygerprints,

It's true though. It WILL happen to you. I've been around long enough to see the full cycle over and over. In the 60s when I was kid, everyone was with "it," now we're all old f@rts who think those very same 60s values are weird and scary - peace? love? wokefulness? IT'S too horrible to think about!

tygerprints,

That'd be me. I'm usually the first one up in any situation. So sometimes I just go ahead and make the coffee and start the breakfast. I mean no one's going to get upset waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs and pancakes.

tygerprints,

While that's good news overall, I'm unhappy to think that it means 75 percent of adults still believe in superstitious dark ages fictional nonsense. At least the upcoming generation seem to be smarter people and less apt to fall under the influence of the evils of religious belief.

It's more healthy not to believe in a god, than to believe in one. And it's more healthy to put your energy into human relationships that into fictional religious ones.

tygerprints,

it wouldn't have to be a global threat, we'd almost eradicated measles but some parents refuse to do what's right and prefer to let their kids die and get horribly sick than get them the required vaccinations. Such people should never be allowed to have kids in the first place, because being antivax is a sign of abberant and dangerous mental illness.

tygerprints,

That is so amazing. Congrats!! It must feel incredible to make that kind of money now. A six-figure income seems almost to be the minimum a person should earn if they want to survive and live well in the world these days.

I never earned a huge salary (I think my highest was $27,000 in one year) as a healthcare worker, but I came into a family trust later in life when my parents kicked off. So now I have a lot of money in the bank - and like you, not anyone close to share it with.

The only good thing is I retired early and now pretty much have all my time to myself - nobody to share it with, but that's OK because I feel like I keep busy and I'm into things like painting and playing music and hiking - so I never feel like I have time to just sit and brood about things.

I just want to say congrats and you deserve to feel happy about your situation. I wish you all the best!!

tygerprints,

That's harsh dude. But it reminds me of the time I had trick 'r treaters at my apartment, and they could see my apartment all decked out in halloween stuff and when I closed the door one of the kids said, "See, old people can enjoy halloween too!"

I didn't know I was old until that moment.

tygerprints,

If being unable to play FIFA is the single biggest problem in your life - your life has pretty much zero problems. It's not the mom's decision to buy a computer that screwed you over, bud - it's your attitude about life in general. Nobody owes you anything, you want a better life go out and earn it.

tygerprints,

And you had to walk to work and home again pushing a boulder up hill, both ways. Truly, America is the greatest of all the countries that can be found in America.

tygerprints,

Yeah it's funny how much everybody has free speech in this country except kids or LGBTQ or black or cherokee or asian people or females.

tygerprints,

Thank GOD for this. Such anti-humane behavior should be criminalized, anywhere and everywhere in the world. I think the punishment is a little lenient - only six months in prison? I think such dirty filth as would so something like this should be jailed for up to 60 years, minimum. The intention of these sick folks is to make people seeking valid healthcare feel horrible and dirty about themselves. And there's no way to legitimize such disgusting behavior in any way.

tygerprints,

I couldn't be happier to see these fascist asswipes go down in flames. This group of poorly educated white women are certainly a cunning array of stunts. What a sick group of backwards, uneducated, dumbass twats. May they never have a moment's happiness in their lives ever again.

tygerprints,

I know I remember seeing a documentary about all this and how surgeons who frequently did autopsies at that time would often cut themselves, develop a fever and die from septic shock, never having learned that they maybe should wash their hands after playing with dead tissue. Germ theory wasn't even a theory then, because people didn't have any idea there could be such a thing as germs.

It makes me wonder what would people in the Renaissance or middle ages say, if we were to travel back in time and talk about dinosaurs. I'm sure they'd lock us up as mentally ill. How could there ever have been such a thing as gigantic mega-lizards walking around on earth!

From the micro to the macroscopic it's funny how we humans always have to learn things very slowly and only after making many incorrect assumptions.

tygerprints,

My advice is the opposite - you guys need to step up (well - down) and start eating more ass. Don't let the fear mongers take the fun out of sex and foreplay. Everything people do in that realm could possibly cause illness or might be dangerous - from STDs to causing ruptures in the skin - but that shouldn't prevent people from having a good time. If people are clean and healthy and showering regularly, there's no reason to fear anal stuff at all.

tygerprints,

I'd sooner vote Jeffrey Dahmer into the presidency. And yes I realize he's been dead for almost 30 years. But I'd rather have his dead corpse in there than a decorative autumn squash with pussy breath.

tygerprints,

I heard on the evening news (and I'm only reporting what they said) that the guy had high blood pressure already - not the kind of person who should be chugging "charged" anything anyway. Those energy drinks are not good for your heart, but I do get why people use them. I just think they're not for everyone.

tygerprints,

Always remember, trying is the first step toward failure.

tygerprints,

Thank God there are coalitions being led by people like Al Sharpton to fight against this sick tyranny and actively driving black people to get registered to vote no matter what laws stand in their way. I hope most black people are incensed enough already by white treachery that they will fight like hell with tooth and claw to get their vote cast this upcoming election - because their own histories and livelihoods are under threat by fascist erosion.

tygerprints,

I only wish it wasn't this way. Nobody asked, but I'm gonna say it anyway - (looks around to make sure no spies are listening) - my favorite book is "Lost Horizon." Yeeee heee there I said it. YES, YES I'm A PACIFIST and even more alarming, I'd rather live in a peaceful and friendly world than a war torn one. (I know how insane that sounds but it's true).

tygerprints,

It's amazing that these republicans are totally surprised by these results and "not pleased" with what they're seeing. What they're seeing is the aggregate voice of the American people who have for years been crying out for restoration of women's healthcare rights and for protections for all groups - and somehow they still don't hear that cry or understand it. Talk about willful ignorance and choosing to ignore reality in favor of self-delusion!

tygerprints,

They always just double-down on their fascist tactics such as gerrymandering and taking away more and more voters' rights. And yet still act surprised when people aren't pleased with their actions.

tygerprints,

Now Youtube is doing unskippable 30 second commercials. I turn the sound off, but it's still very f#cking annoying. We're not bombarded enough with ads every time we use our computer? I'm 65 now, and I've yet to see any commercial that ever made me want to buy the product advertised.

tygerprints,

Another asinine twit throwing "doubt" around about the 2020 groundswell for Biden. We already know it was in fact the most valid and least fradulent election in history. Tom Emmer is a god-damn idiot and another person whose opinion is about as useful and valuable as a mouthful of rat droppings.

tygerprints,

I agree. They are dangerously lunatic in every way. I consider someone who identifies as Republican with admitting to being a child molester, a woman hater, and an abusive parent in every way. I consider them totally and completely mentally unstable and utterly corrupt in every possible sense of the word.
