God, Musk is utterly pathetic: 'In an email sent at 2:19 a.m [to NPR]. EST after the story was originally published, Musk wrote a message without any text in the body but with this subject line: "You suck."'

'You suck' FFS.

He has the emotional maturity of an eight year old.

craigmaloney,
mistakenotmy,

Here is the list of actions the FTC has proposed against .

I don't think Meta will win over the public fighting those, most are pretty basic privacy related actions. I mean how do they want to publicly defend the monetizing of data of children?

A month from now, by June 2023, will actually be decentralized? Will it be part of the ? Will most of the people here who think BS is on our side, still have hope? Will BS have given up on the open protocol idea? Will BS be seen as the old school Twitter reborn and will most people be happy with that? Will they be planning their IPO? What will Twitter look like?

I think sometimes initialisms are serendipitous.

alfredo_liberal,

Seeing Twitter turn into “pay to play”, I’m reminded of Friendster. https://www.cnet.com/culture/friendster-a-little-cash-goes-a-long-way/

Going back to after so long, and it feels like it has lost it's soul.

I can sit and enjoy the schadenfreude of Musk's wallet being rinsed, but I do feel sad for the communities that used to thrive on there that feel a bit empty...
