You see the best and worst of people at the animal shelter.

We're closed today but they sent an email to the volunteers saying we could walk dogs btw 7:30-10:30 am. I figured nobody would show up early on a holiday so I went in & almost every volunteer was there. All of our walkable dogs got out, and we had so many people that some got two walks.

During a #BLM protest in 2020, a young mother driving to pick up her nephew was attacked and beaten by police in front of her toddler, who the cops took from her car and later claimed they had been found wandering around and rescued.

A judge just dismissed all charges against the cop because another cop blew off a subpoena and didn't show up to testify. (Charges were refiled.)

And they whine about not being respected.

One of the things that stands out from the #cnntownhall--which I didn't watch, because why the fuck would I?--is that #Trump repeated the same defamatory comments about E Jean Carroll for which a jury just awarded her $5 million.

I imagine that she feels vindicated and wouldn't want to put herself through that again, but if she chose to she could sue him again--and just keep suing until he STFU.
