I think the problem with Agamben and other intellectuals, like Foucault, is they aren't actually working within an anarchist framework, because instead of admitting they've come to the same basic conclusions that anarchists arrived at in the 19th century and deepening that analysis, they want to be special boys who just invented everything wholesale, also anarchism isn't prestigious enough in elite universities, they want to be fearless critics of power while living cushy lives as public intellectuals.
Because they lack a revolutionary mindset they sound like right libertarians when shit hits the fan
