@gregorni this post is so motivating! I have a big summer break right now and I really want to learn programming and publish an app on Flathub. I hope I can stay motivated :)
@gregorni Goddamn, you're a prodigy! Keep it up! I didn't start on my path till 11, and it took me forever to get my footing, I barely got anything cool done until 18, so you're on a roll!
@gregorni I started off with 3d printing, then moved on to doing my best in game maker. Took me a lot of time to get good.
I remember when I started trying to code for things other than games, I distinctly remember trying to write what I now know was JavaScript in a Java IDE and having no idea why it wasn't working 💀
@julia I first got into contact with coding in a seminar for students talented in science things, where I learned some basic Python, and eventually made a really bad face recognition AI.
Then, last November I started contributing to Upscaler, then Cavalier, and then my journey continued exponentially from there.
