Scene with Red-Winged Blackbird, Cherry Creek State Park, Denver, Colorado
Another of our nature stops on our recent trip to Denver. There are many great parks in the Denver area, quite close to or even amid the city. These red-winged blackbirds were anywhere there was water. Their birdsong brought back memories of my childhood in Ohio.
This place is incredible! We worked our way through the story and actually managed to save everyone's memories!
So... you're welcome! :ablobcatwink:
It's an amazing experience though. Such a cool interactive #Art#Museum. Each one is supposed to be different. I would love to someday check out the others.
Approaching Storm, Cherry Creek State Park, Denver, Colorado
Another of our nature stops on our recent trip to Denver. There are many great parks in the Denver area, quite close to or even amid the city. Here we see one of the storms that was about to delay our flight out of Denver.
Was sitting in a bar on E Colfax yesterday, when I saw a man pass in a Superman outfit. Got my phone & ran out to see him, but he was gone! Did he fly away? Nope, he’d just turned the corner. Was able to snap a photo as he passed into the neighborhood. Up up and away… #moment#superman#denver#denvercolorado
What a ‘Human-Centered’ Approach Can Do for Workers With Disabilities
Obtaining reasonable accommodations is often a messy, frustrating process for both employees and their managers. But there are solutions.

Had a hell of a week stressing over a couple deadlines at work and some complicated interpersonal relationships. Fell inward for the first time since hitting the road and it was an uncomfortable reminder that those feelings don't magically disappear just because you changed environments.
This is your friendly reminder that excersize, being in nature, and socializing where possible combat the symptoms of depression and should be treated as necessities and not "if I have time for it".
Hi hello I still love all of you :bugcat_love: :bugcat_hearts: And I'm finally landing in #Colorado tomorrow! :blob_conga: If you have any recommendations for neat spots around #ColoradoSprings and #Denver I'd love to hear! Also very interested in learning to #snowboard and hopefully getting back into #kayaking so any and all advice is appreciated :blob_heart:
Bonded buddies Paco (mostly white and brown) and Pepe (mostly white and black) have really neat tri-color patterns in their fur! Meet them at the #Denver Animal Shelter.
"The Mile High City will create a new monument to a 1978 protest that was a landmark for the disability rights movement... 5 July 1978, when activists in wheelchairs protesting the inaccessibility of Denver’s public transit blocked buses at the busy intersection of Colfax Avenue and Broadway. For the next 24 hours, 19 activists lay in the street and prevented the buses from moving."
A birch trunk frames a view in the Denver Botanic Garden. This is an amazing garden very near downtown Denver. I wasn’t sure if it was too early in the Spring to have enough blooms to photograph but all the spring bulbs and trees were in flower. We had a wonderfully temperate, sunny day in which to explore the entire site. One section was under refurbishment, but this will give us something new to see when we return.
It's time to freak out!
We're launching the Were-House Art Market in #Aurora, #CO, and it's free to attend!
Our venue is #queer friendly, has onsite food and shopping access, and encourages #fursuiting, so come support local #creatives, and have a howl with us Oct 14th+15th!
We are down to two groups of three baby boy #rats at the #Denver Animal Shelter. At three months old, I'm not sure we can really call them babies much longer. These curious critters have spent their lives at the shelter and they're growing up fast. I'm sponsoring their adoption fees, come meet them!
I tried to snap some pictures, but they are challenging photography subjects at this age.
Rats are amazing, and ours have brought so much joy to our lives.
"The financiers created a company, US Anesthesia Partners, which bought the largest anesthesiology group in the #Denver region. Then it bought the next largest. Then it bought a few more...
The Federal Trade Commission, which is supposed to prevent unfair #business practices, questioned the company’s growth but did not stop it.
Related to the #Denver#police arresting #MutualAid folks cooking dinner for the unhoused community, a few updates. First, they could use help with bail money. Second, they were in the process of rescuing someone who was overdosing when the cops showed up and started beating on them. Absolutely sickening. https://twitter.com/FQmondays/status/1681331052864847874 #acab
