Today is a special day for me and I think for all #linuxaudio#musician (s).
Sinevibes, a true innovator in the field of unique yet easy to use #audio#effect (s) #plugin (s), joins the #linux#musicproduction family by releasing Integer, their new digital-analog buffer device, as their first native Linux plug-in. 🥳🥰
Get it here: https://www.sinevibes.com/integer/
PD: They created their first plug-in almost 20 years ago and were all in on Linux at the time. So in a way this is like "The Return to Linux"! 🤓
Time for my one post a year. Hello again, and to let anyone know who cares, #GarudaLinux is still my OS of choice, and I do #linuxgaming on said OS, love it, and have no major issues of daily driving it since I logged in to #Fosstodon last ( july 2023 i think?) Anyways, peace to you all.
My experiment with #garudalinux has come to an end. Back to #debian and #gnome. Feels familiar and am happy to be in my comfort zone again. Only wish my HP Dragonfly had a better battery life. 3 hours isn't cutting it anymore :(
Spent most of today getting almost all the rest of my system set up. Morning I got my Steam library squared away with a 2nd library folder on my 8tb ext HDD. Afternoon was spent getting Rift installed and tested, then finding what addons I could for it and LotRO and getting them installed. Spent a couple hours trying to get LotRO to launch on the 32" display, but it just won't. Tried all the "fixes" I could find online and narrrrp. So I'll have to launch windowed and move it. #PC#GarudaLinux
I am just a simple man trying to make my way in the fediverse. I am a big #StarWars fan. I converted to the #Linux side, currently using #GarudaLinux and #KDE. I am a proponent of #FOSS. I am a graphic & web designer in SoCal. I hail from the #GooglePlus system (where I was a Google+ Creator and the "Star Wars guy" there...) . I've been a social media nomad since after the Empire destroyed it back in 2018. RIP :(
@rm4#GarudaLinux looks lovely, but bot does it eat up resources! At least I tried it (KDE) a year or so ago on a ThinkPad with 4Gb Ram. It brought the system to a crashing halt. I now have too machines that have 8Gb (a lot from me), but would be scared to try it.
However, I use Sweet KDE theme on all 4 of my computers.
