It's incredible to me that years later we are dealing with another set of life threatening quality issues in Boeing 737 MAX planes which can all be traced to the company deciding to optimize for shareholder value instead of listening to its engineers.

Made another trip to the library via bicycle. Passed about 50 cars waiting for kids at school, probably passed the homes those cars came from. (I was guilty of that when my kids were that age, too... It takes LONGER to drive back from the school 10 minutes away than it is to bicycle, usually 30-45 minutes, due to traffic congestion at the schools.) For what it's worth, trying to drive even less than I do now. #BikeTooter

When someone tries to sell you a new "agile scaling approach" or whatever, always ask this question:
Who is on call for those services? Who gets woken up at 2am when a service goes down? Whose responsibility is it to restore service? And what kind of behaviour does that setup incentivize?
Because there is a lot of snake oil being peddled with very little awareness of good team practices and healthy org dynamics.
