Can anyone recommend a #photo#restoration / preservation shop in #NYC? Going through storage found some historical photos from my grandfather’s WW1 service and would like to get them into a better state.
Here's my capture of Béla Fleck: Rhythm, Raga & Rhapsody from last night at Carnegie Hall. Nothing fancy, just another Pixel internal mic recording. Nevertheless a proper souvenir from one of the best nights of music ever.
Finally sorting through my millions of photos, here's a collection of ones I took at Nintendo Power's 20th anniversary party, in 2008, held in New York City, USA.
First run in over a year.
Well… I say run…aggressive shuffle is a better descriptor.
Lessons learned:
PT informed me that I don’t have flat feet. 30 years ago or so a GP said I did and I never thought to ask again.
There is a new balance store one block from where I work. I must have crossed infront if it thousands of times - never noticed it.
The view from around the Jacquline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir never gets old. (Below, ironically, is an old photo…) #running#NYC#JKOreservoir
[NYTimes]: As we mentioned earlier today, this is going to be a tricky cross-examination for the defense lawyer, Emil Bove, especially with a vulnerable witness. And Hope Hicks just began to cry. By Jonah Bromwich
[NYTimes]: Hope Hicks is now describing the initial Wall Street Journal article about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels. She says she cannot recall certain facts about this period, including a conversation with Michael Cohen. But she says if the prosecution has something to refresh her memory, she is willing to look at it. She has gotten considerably more nervous-looking again, clenching her jaw and stumbling a bit in her speech.
Its getting heated.. [NYTimes]: We know this, but it’s still amazing to hear Hope Hicks say it aloud: During the period where she was texting with Michael Cohen about the Wall Street Journal story and the damage it could potentially cause, the presidential election was three days away. [NYTimes]: Hope Hicks refers to Trump as “Mr. Trump.” Notably, she says she’s paying for her own lawyer. She says the last time she spoke to Trump was in the summer or fall of 2022.By Maggie Haberman
