Visiting Bow Castle Broch we took advantage to have lunch in the Cafe as well as getting a book fix at the wonderful Wedale bookshop in Stow (rhymes with Wow not Toe), perfectly situated for the walk and close to one another in Stow.

For those who asked me about live music, it’s on every month at the Station House, first Sunday off the month.

A very enjoyable walk through the woods to the Broch and then back past the Wind Turbines.

Coming across from #Stow, we passed the sight of the old mediaeval #hospital, the Soutra Aisle with a road sign on the road indicating Soutra Isle 🤣) one of the most important institutions in #medieval Scotland.

All that is left is a stone roofed building. Unfortunately the #bams have been at it and some of the information boards have been vandalised and torn away 😳.

Independent bookshop @WedaleBooks in Stow, in the Scottish Borders looks well worth a stop when travelling up the A7 or the Tweed Valley Railway on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday (10am -4pm).

Borders

is a regular stop these day, we have taken to calling into the bookshop. Fairly new, it is open 3 days a weeks and well worth a stop. A small eclectic collection of books including local guides, Crime and Foraging to name but after few. Run by people who like books. Today a find included a selection by the dug who is in to self-help texts. The Stow Cafe (dug friendly) is worth as stop in as well.

I've been daily driving @opensuse Tumbleweed for a few weeks now.

And it is the best rolling release distro I've ever used.

So, here are the things I found most interesting about it:

@thelinuxEXP @opensuse Just tested it, the installer even allowed me not to install a bootloader. I'm impressed. In 30 min, with , I was back in business, all my apps were there and running. (Even with an card) Good job @opensuse
