Someone is making a Nothing inspired Linux distro. Doesn't seem very promising yet, but a fun idea.

Yesterday i watched Nick from THE LINUX EXPERIMENT - @thelinuxEXP - doing a tier list for 2024. Although I can't complain (using ), it made me wonder - am I weird not distro hopping that much and just stay with the one distro which serves my needs?
True, my computer work consists of using Libre Writer, Firefox, Thinderbird and VLC, so I practically can use old Raspberry Pi 3, but still... am I missing something which could enhance my Linux experience?

It's official: @Sharkey is the best Linux distro, and @netbsd is the second best.

OS/1337 development goes on...

Tho I'm a bit stuck on the boot pipeline...

Anyone any idea why?

The second day after Fedora 39, and my first day on Universal Blue! Already loving the built-in just commands so far!

Also, not having to backup all data and reinstall to switch distros is so nice!

I’ve been away from home for a while and unable to work on wallpapers, but hopefully I can get around to working on them again when I get back.

Been thinking about opening commissions for them. They wouldn’t be much, like $5 or something. Let me know if you might be interested in something like that.

Also feel free to leave suggestions on which distro I should do next!

And now I use LMDE btw. Didn't have much luck with vanilla Debian.
LMDE though, the distrohopping went so smooth, I'm really impressed. Maybe I'm a weirdo who wants to be a "Linux normie" and don't want to do anything manually? 🤔 😂

Did you know that you can boot multiple distros from one USB stick?

I didn't yesterday, but now I do!

is a tool that will boot a USB stick with a bunch of .iso files on it and you can just choose which one you wanna boot.

https://www.ventoy.net/

Just prepare the USB stick once and after that all you need to do is copy over any .iso distro file.

How freakin cool is that?!
(I think it's pretty awesome)

It's great to see @elementary here. It's a slick Linux distro you need to try.

I've been daily driving @opensuse Tumbleweed for a few weeks now.

And it is the best rolling release distro I've ever used.

So, here are the things I found most interesting about it:

@elementary OS 7 is now out! It brings an updated base and kernel, even more great touchpad gestures, refined applications, more settings and options, and a solid foundation over which to build for the next year.

But is it enough for me to go back to my first Linux love?

Let's look at everything new in this release, and if I'll switch to it:
