Another favorite old photo. My dad and I chased this big bug around for several minutes trying to snap a picture. Only later did we learn that it is a Tarantula Hawk Wasp, which has one of the most painful stings in the world – though I've been told that this is a male which doesn't have as bad of a sting but I wouldn't want to risk it. Haha.
