Happy cat day
Rupert loved to be vacuumed. He would throw himself down in front of whatever was being vacuumed to make sure you didn't miss him. He'd roll around to make sure you got everywhere, even his tail, using the nozzle. Molly, though, had a running battle with the cleaner, hated it.
Aren't cats great?

A walk is always improved by knowing that there is a cat that will be waiting for you to pass by.
This pretty thing sits in her drive (sometimes under the back of the car if it's parked there) waiting for me (?) to pass by on my way home from my walk. She never moves towards me, nor did she back away as I approached her with my camera.
I've been a bit absent on here lately, as I've not been well. (Hopefully on the mend soon.)
However, as you can see, I have lots of help with household chores. Zaz couldn't quite work out how to put up the laundry rack, though. I suggested she just stick to cleaning the dishes.

Have been bed-ridden* since Tuesday afternoon incapacitated by fucking flu, and last night at 00:30 I woke up to an arrhythmia. Beta blockers worked a treat the way they usually do and I've now had enough of being ill.
Got mildly dressed, went downstairs, and am now tapping into that sweet sweet endorphins release.
Pangolin wishes we would turn on the wood stove so she could listen to her favourite music in a warm spot like she did last year.
Patience, little Ping Pang, the parts for the repair should arrive soon, then we'll all be warm. Meanwhile, you, at least, have a heated bed to fall back on!
I hope all #FediFriends have a peaceful, warm weekend.
In this storm, I often think of the wild or abandoned animals, big and small that are out in it, maybe with little shelter and things falling around them. This lovely stray was wandering around a friend's house a few years ago. I was tempted to take it home as it followed me around. I hope it found a home. So beautiful.

Had to replace the cat trap. The old one had some wear and tear. Ramen has no idea how the chunks went missing out of the sides, and insists the puncture marks are definitely not from teeth. When my #bananas get too ripe - I fry them up in coconut oil & eat with vanilla ice cream. I make fried bananas in a few different ways. This is the easiest/fastest version.
Asher also got his first few licks of ice cream today - he doesn't get much human foods at all(not good for his cat belly).
