The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library introduces nonfiction to the beginning reader and serves as a great resource to help teachers make abstract scientific concepts come to life! As the students are entertained by the intriguing stories, they will also learn about fascinating facts that will keep them reading to learn even more.
#Caturday classic: Theodor Seuss Geisel ‘Dr. Seuss' (American, 1904-91)
The Cat in the Hat, c. 1970

now on display at “Childhood Favorites: 100 Years of Children’s Book Illustration” exhibition at Washington County Museum of Fine Arts #CatsInArt#DrSeuss
Yes, Geisel (aka #DrSeuss) was racist, I have a collection of his WWII propaganda comics and OMFG some of those absolutely STINK OF IT. So the #DrSeussFoundation withdrawing some titles to protect sales of the rest is absolutely #BecauseCapitalism
So if they’re withdrawing “racist” #DrSeuss titles from sale, it’s because #MarketingResearch is telling them that not doing so will damage the brand and reduce their profits over time. I.e. #BecauseCapitalism again (or still).
Once again, this means that the targeted minorities not only exist (and sympathetic customers outside those minorities) buthave enough REAL MONEY to matter. Which the conservatives hate.
> Would you log in with your Google account,
> Would you log in so we can all keep count?
I do not want to log in with my Google account,
I would not wish to do so on a mount.
I would not like to do so in the air,
I would not like to do so anywhere.
I do not like mass surveillance and AI,
I do not like them, O creepy little guy.
> Would you log in with Google for Pinterest?
> Would you do so to check your account's interest?
I would not, could not to check my interest,
I would not, could not to browse through Pinterest.
I do not like mass surveillance and AI,
I do not like them, O creepy little guy.
> Would you, could you for a fiverr?
> Would you, could you for internet fiber?
I would not, could not Google for a fiverr,
I would not use that log in to get fiber.
I do not like mass surveillance and AI,
I do not like them, O creepy little guy.
I do not like surveillance with my mouse,
I do not like surveillance in my house,
I do not like mass surveillance and AI —
Not in my house,
Not with my mouse,
Not to order flannel,
Not to change the channel,
I do NOT LIKE mass surveillance and AI,
So begone with all your cookies, you creepy little guy.
"Horton Hears a Who" is a lot more profound than people realize. Perhaps our entire universe exists on a speck of dust that itself exists within an entire other universe, which in turn is on another speck. And what if the atoms that make up our universe in turn contain their own entire universes. Reality is both infinitely large and infinitely small. It extends infinitely in all directions and dimensions.
