A #Saturn IB #rocket on display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor’s Complex.
The #SaturnIB helped test the Apollo spacecraft in Earth orbit.
The rocket also carried the Apollo spacecraft to the Skylab space station and to meet a Soviet Soyuz for the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.
The eight red nozzles are the 8 H-1 #engines that powered the rocket.
If Cities Are Going To Be Packed With Parking Lots, They Should All Have Solar Canopies
Target recently ran a pilot project in California using roof and parking lot solar to power its entire store, including HVAC systems. The system actually produces about 10% more energy than the store can consume, meaning Target can then send the energy back to the grid and receive payment for its power from the local energy company.
We have a small leak somewhere in the cooling system, specifically the radiator, that I'm have no end if trouble finding. The engine bay in the motorhome is a nightmare to get around in and the air-conditioning radiator covers the front of the engine radiator completely.
Anyway, while sticking my head into places it didn't fit, we noticed a small longitudinal crack in the serpentine belt. If the belt had been any further around it wouldn't have shown at all. I also noticed that the tensioner indicator was showing that the belt had stretched to the allowed limit.
Fortunately I had a spare belt.
Much struggling later - did I mention the engine bay is a nightmare? - I got the old belt off.
OK, that small crack? It was a separation that ran for about 20 centimetres, and there were a couple of suspect spots elsewhere.
Anyway, new belt installed, a few new cuts and grazes achieved, and sleeping easier.
Oh, that leak? Still can't find it and it didn't show up this afternoon at all. 🤨
