I've been meaning to do this for a while, and tonight I finally supported @mwl for his new book: Run Your Own Mail Server: A Book for Independence & Privacy
Every book I've read by mwl has gifted me with smiles, laughter, knowledge, awareness, and a desire to experiment.
Can't wait to dive into this new work!
Closer to the weekend day by day! And I don't have any plans for the weekend. Hey, why am I waiting for the weekend then? 😃😅🤣 #WeekendVibes#NoPlans#Excited
I bought art! This is "Poler" by the inimitable Kathleen Neeley. Poler is a linocut hand printed on ~10”x14” 30gsm kitakata paper. This is a second edition of 23 pieces. As a professional framer, I already have a molding in mind for Poler. I will likely float it, but maybe since it doesn't have deckled edges, I'll mat it under two reverse bevel mats separated by 3/16" foamcore. And I will likely splurged and use museum glass and I don't even use museum glass on my own work! #Art#Excited
If everything goes as planned, I'll have a spare skein of #yarn after finishing my #Marettimo wich means I'll have to buy one of contrasting color and #knit a new #shawl. #Excited !! #Knitting
I have a new to me bicycle frame and fork en route today! This is a model I sold a few years ago, and always regretted, so this is really exciting as these are somewhat rare birds. #bicycles#Fatbike#excited#SingularPuffin#SingularCycles
For those on the Mac, who use access technology, I received a response from zoom access, acknowledging the issue with disabling all accessibility alerts in the Zoom application on macOS, but still getting your notifications via system voice if the zoom window doesn’t have focus. They stated that their engineers are working on it! #Excited#Can’tWait#Abouttime
