The only way it's actually cigarette smoke is if somebody just came and sat on my back stoop and smoked heavily for a few hours or something, which seems rather unlikely.

It’s no more difficult to set up than VMWare or Parallels are, and it’s way more accessible than Parallels is too. Even when they're not trying to collect rent or surveil me, every new release and every new app just fills me with the dread of "please don't make me learn something new".
I don't have a problem with #keyboard#shortcuts; I use some, not a ton. And I remember DeluxePaint well - helped me sell a lot of #Amigas, even if I couldn't afford a copy for my own.
What I object to is the absolutely #bizarre#UI decisions that lead to #confused, #frustrated users and horrible #UX. Like my "just loaded an image, but can't select anything!" example.

There seems to be so much ambiguity with Machiato... from what I understand, it's an espresso marked with foamed milk. But you can also have a Latte Machiato which is milk marked/stained with espresso lol. And then there's Starbucks who effectively hand over a Latte if you ask for a Machiato haha.
Periodically I'll do a git pull in my local copy of the git repo's emacs-29 branch. But most of the time, running make just ends up with an error about an Org version mismatch that forces me to run make bootstrap instead...
