@AndorianSoup @drogyn1701 If you're looking for more Trek, you might want to give some of the fan productions out there a chance.
is a fun one I work on, that takes a few loose threads from , ties them together and explores them. There's also the Timewarp Trilogy (Star Trek I: Specter, Star Trek II, Retribution and Star Trek III, Redemption.)

I love this. This is the weird kinda shit I'd make if I could make .

"When the infamous detective Dale Vandermeer wakes up in an ominous room without any recollection of his past, he soon finds himself part of a bizarre game orchestrated by an old foe as he must solve increasingly challenging puzzles to escape the room and recover his memories. "

1/ last night I watched a with one of the most generic titles ever, "Medieval".

It's actually about Jan Žižka, a highly skilled military leader of the - but before all of that fame.

It is, apparently, the most expensive film ever made. Somewhat surprisingly(?) the film is in English (Ben Foster, Sophie Lowe, and Michael Caine among the cast).

It is the most brutal film I can recall seeing.

The combat is gruesome, but it is the civilian

What's something minor that happens a lot in fiction that bothers you? Not something related to an area of expertise that everybody thinks is normal but you know is wrong. I mean something mundane that's like women waking up in full makeup, or people standing under the shower and turning it on instead of pointing it away or standing away first to get the water right, etc

Content:
"Rechtsruck in Europa.

Enjoyed 'She Said" about the NYT investigation of Harvey Weinstein. Gives you a good glimpse of how much legwork work goes into an investigative piece. The reporters and editors earn their keep.

IMHO, one of the best and collection of films is found on in the collection: WOMEN MAKE FILM

First, there's the amazing 14-part by one of my favorite filmmakers, Mark Cousins, called WOMEN MAKE FILM. Then that's followed by a number of films by the filmmakers mentioned in the documentary spanning the history of .

A picture of Mark Cousins in from of a wall with a mural saying BAP Bollywood Art Project. He wears a shirt that says 'Masulin Feminin' referring to the Godard film of that name.

Why are they still lingering around the hotel? It'd be out of there so fast, it'd reverse time like Christopher Reeve as Superman. I wouldn't even leave footprints when I got the hell out of there.

BrianTransplant, to random

So wait. Are the seven gates each going to different parts of hell? Or is it like a tollbooth thing, where it's all the same bridge?

Reallly rude of someone to do the Foley for this scene while also eating their lunch.

Is it just me, or did some of the PS1-era Resident Evil movies take some musical inspiration from this score?

I'd love to stay up for more of The Last Drive-In, but I keep zonking out, and I'll be getting up early in the morning, so I'm gonna tap out and save the rest of this for another day.

Thanks for making this a ridiculously good time. Peace, g'night, take care, and happy viewing, y'all!

I can see why they changed the title. "Seven Doors of Death" sounds like the absolute best martial arts movie. That would be a total bait-and-switch.

If I saw that happen to someone, I'd be out of there in a hurry. Wouldn't even leave a note. Once I was halfway around the world, maybe I'd mail a postcard. Except I wouldn't want anyone to know my new address.
