I think Larian Studios made a fantastic decision by choosing not to place Baldur's Gate III on Game Pass. As they mentioned, it is a big game, and it deserves a fair price.
I am tired of constantly paying for subscriptions, battle passes, DLCs, and season passes. It would be nice to pay for a game and not have to worry about additional costs. I hope that more studios adopt this philosophy in the future.

This is a great game. I quite enjoyed the windows into various cultures. This is an interesting little game. FPS walking sim in the "real world", isometric turn based crawler when you dive into a book. Started playing Thirsty Suitors. It's way more inclusive than I thought it would be. Not that far in and already had some real meaningful moments. People really should check this game out. So #Microsoft wants #Gamepass on #Playstation and #Switch? The only way I see that happening is a watered down version that only included first party #Xbox titles because I don’t see either company wanting to lose revenue from the sale of third party #VideoGames.
I must say though, as long as it was proper native ports of the games, I’d be all for it.
Honestly, I enjoyed it a lot. It's not a revolutionary gaming experience, but it is fun. And I actually quite liked the ending.
I'll come back to it for the new game+ experience/achievement cleanup sometime... but for now I need to get on all the games I've been neglecting through my nightly Starfield routine. 😅

This is an impressive climbing sim, in that the climbing mechanic is (mostly) painless. You can't walk off an edge, nice. I dig the art style. Finding the collectibles is rewarding enough I've gone back in looking for them after completing the "story". I just got my first full screen notification about a Game Pass game (one I don't care at all about) Modern Warfare 3 being available. Changed my notifications so quickly after that one.
As the only way to dismiss it was to select the exit as I could see nothing else but this damn ad!
This is the sort of bs that makes me not want to sign up for a service. It's not like this is even a game which would appeal to me (Microsoft has the data, at the very least make it relevant)!
Nintendo at least has the decency to only notify you about things through the Nintendo Online app and not take over your whole damn screen! This is a big bugbear of mine if you couldn't tell.
Microsoft could learn a thing from them by making Gamepass an option that's present like Nintendo Online but one that isn't intrusive.
