We run a tour every Wednesday at 7pm to give members of the public an opportunity to look around the space and find out how we operate. Come along, meet some friendly faces and see if you fancy joining us.
@hugh there is 32GB of ram there so after 5 years of being enslaved in production work they have enough ram still to lead a free and actually useful life in your local #hackerspace

This Saturday (1pm March 30th) is our Linux install day (and free computer repair day) at @thegamerclub#Glasgow as part of the International #Hackerspace Open Day.
If you or someone you know has a laptop that could get a new lease of life by installing Linux (or just need a PC/laptop fixed), then come join us and our team of volunteers will be able to lend a hand.

Das Reparaturcafé bieten wir monatlich am 1. Sonntag im Monat zwischen 15:00 und 18:00 Uhr an.

Morgen Abend (23.02.) gibt es bei uns einen #FreeCad Workshop.
Wir werden einen Spulenhalter für kleine Kabelspulen zeichnen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig. Zum mitmachen benötigst Du lediglich ein Notebook mit installiertem FreeCad. Melde Dich gerne bei Interesse.
Gerade wieder festgestellt: ich mache zu selten was mit #Freecad, hab bis zur nächsten Nutzung einiges vergessen und muss mich dann immer erst wieder reinfummeln. Hilft ja nix. #woodworking

3D Design tool for needy kids, the search continues.
We have old laptops to loan out to kids from poor backgrounds. They don't have internet. 2D design we have covered with #inkscape, and the laptops run #linux well (but not Windows). What I need is a 3D design program. Suggestions welcome.
