I really really really want to watch Cocaine Bear but it is way too much to rent right now on Amazon and we don't get streaming services with it here.

Someone please tell me it's worth the swearing I just did when I worked out I wouldn't be seeing it tonight. :blobcatsadreach: Is it like the Jaws of bears? Is it B paradise?

Law-enforcement agencies have sent 35 warnings about "How to Blow Up a Pipeline," a fictional movie said to be inspired by "Reservoir Dogs" about eight protesters who plan to blow up a west Texas oil pipeline. @RollingStone reporter Jana Winter says at least 23 separate federal and state entities sent missives in what she calls "a veritable alphabet soup of angst." Here's more on the brouhaha, and the movie.

I am a left leaning millennial and have almost lost all hope for the US, and frankly the world at this point. I think that millennials and Gen Z are a force to be reckoned within the US political system. That gives my cynical heart hope.

IMHO, one of the best and collection of films is found on in the collection: WOMEN MAKE FILM

First, there's the amazing 14-part by one of my favorite filmmakers, Mark Cousins, called WOMEN MAKE FILM. Then that's followed by a number of films by the filmmakers mentioned in the documentary spanning the history of .

A picture of Mark Cousins in from of a wall with a mural saying BAP Bollywood Art Project. He wears a shirt that says 'Masulin Feminin' referring to the Godard film of that name.

Why are they still lingering around the hotel? It'd be out of there so fast, it'd reverse time like Christopher Reeve as Superman. I wouldn't even leave footprints when I got the hell out of there.

BrianTransplant, to random

So wait. Are the seven gates each going to different parts of hell? Or is it like a tollbooth thing, where it's all the same bridge?

Reallly rude of someone to do the Foley for this scene while also eating their lunch.

Is it just me, or did some of the PS1-era Resident Evil movies take some musical inspiration from this score?

I'd love to stay up for more of The Last Drive-In, but I keep zonking out, and I'll be getting up early in the morning, so I'm gonna tap out and save the rest of this for another day.

Thanks for making this a ridiculously good time. Peace, g'night, take care, and happy viewing, y'all!

I can see why they changed the title. "Seven Doors of Death" sounds like the absolute best martial arts movie. That would be a total bait-and-switch.

If I saw that happen to someone, I'd be out of there in a hurry. Wouldn't even leave a note. Once I was halfway around the world, maybe I'd mail a postcard. Except I wouldn't want anyone to know my new address.

@Lorenanicole @ThePSF Hi Lorena's party! Python user since 2002 I think? My most recent fun side project was cross referencing IMDB's top 250 of all time with common sense media's age ratings, to give a list for busy parents to brainstorm some quality movies for their kids, after watching Sonic a hundred times. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QGWERrmkE6-jj97pHDstTZ49wNcsl_Whxm6vKnJNdLU/edit?usp=drivesdk
