My favorite #boots: jika tabi popular with construction workers in #Japan that I modified with tanker boot straps and rechargeable LED lights on the heels. Keeps me visible walking or biking around traffic.
I made an orange version of my "mag boot" lights inspired by #TheExpanse for visibility when walking around traffic. Might also be useful when on a bike. Thoughts?
Made these "mag boot" lights (red version with arrow pattern) inspired by #TheExpanse to keep me visible when walking around traffic. Could also work for when on a bicycle/motorcycle/scooter. What do you think?

Saturday morning run to the local via Blessington with my scooter crew. It felt like doing the Dakar on our scooters 😅 Lots of gravel and corrugations. #motorcycle#scooter#gravel
A vintage Vespa scooter, used as a runabout by one of North Cyprus’s real gentlemen. Cengo is a local goatherd, importer of exotic furniture, and home & lifestyle guru… and quite a character.
One of the documented Post-#Covid side effects is a neurodegenerative auto-immune condition that until recently was considered a sub-type of Multiple Sclerosis.
Many degenerative #AutoImmune conditions are thought to be post-viral triggered.
In ~30 years time, after today's children have spent the first 11 years of their lives being repeatedly infected, the most popular form of transport won't be the #Bus, or the #ElectricCar, or the #Train, or the #Scooter.
Finding #winter tires (I'm talking basic M+S, not even 3PMSF) for a #scooter or #motorcycle in #America is nigh impossible. I can't find a single dealer who sells or ships them to the US in my sizes. It's bonkers.
Of all the situations you want the most traction in, it's when you only have two wheels on the ground.
Something I notice about most of these "flying car" concepts: I have seen a few different setups but most of the roadworthy ones rely on some kind of wing setup, either a spar wing which goes back to Otto Lillienthal in the 1890s, or a gyroplane setup which goes back to de la Cierva in the 1920s.
Never once have I seen lifting body suggested.
This is a Martin X-24. It was an experimental lifting body design. And as you can see, its overall shape is a little more like a car or a boat.
@threetails What I see from the tumbnail alone is a lot of expensive & custom parts.
If the CyberTruck wasn't an EV and they used only flat steel panels riveted onto a steel frame like a plane (but there it's aluminium) $30k eould've been possible with something like a I4 (i.e. GM ECOTEC) on a manual transmission drivetrain.
@BobHorowitz That was the photo I was talking about.
A long exposured photo of a road with car's lights, while me and my friend were riding back from a trip we had, with his scooter. This photo was from 1 month ago.
Because of too much move, the shot weren't stabilized well, but it looks good.
Before riding to work daily, I convinced the executive leadership team to create a dedicated #motorcycle / #scooter parking area next to the building. This is the fullest that I have ever seen that parking area.
I was hoping that I would inspire my fellow workers a little more. 😂
