Good morning Masto friends, welcome to Monday! I'm back at the office unfortunately. It was hard leaving with the new kitty at home. Penguin made it through the night, I was up with her until 3am before finally passing out. Sometime after 5am she made her way solo to the basement, the 1000 sq ft cat domain where she's exploring the space. So far some hissing but no actual fights. Just like me at work. 😉
I got to pet the Penguin for the 1st time today!!! They are the neighborhood stray tuxedo cat though I'm pretty sure a girl after the close interaction. We're leaving for the Garden Glow now but I left extra food. We're discussing the feasibility of taking in another cat on the way... If anyone in my area is looking for a new feline friend please let me know.
I had a close encounter with Penguin this morning, our neighborhood stray tuxedo cat. 🐧 Today I got within 3ft (1M) before I had to leave for work. He's hunting in the woods at night. At the end of the video he appears to walk away but he actually comes closer as I walk back to my house. I think I'll be able to pet him in a week or so.🤞
The Penguin, our neighborhood stray tuxedo made his Caturday appearance. I put a handful of food by my mailbox to coax him to my yard. I still aspire to be the fanciest man in Arnold with three tuxedo cats.
The Penguin was chilling in my neighbor's driveway as we left. For a stray cat I see him an awful lot. I think everyone in the neighborhood is trying to be friends with him.

Two dedicated cat rescuers from Southern California are working on trapping and rehoming cats from an industrial location,
to become Working Cats or Barn Cats.
The Penguin strikes again! The shy neighborhood stray tuxedo cat I've been trying to befriend stopped by for a visit today. I was able to approach closer and even got some timid meowing when I called "here kitty kitty".
If I have three tuxedo cats will I be the fanciest guy around?
Good morning friends, cronies and the Mastodon wanderers out there! 🙂👋 How's it going? It is a nice 64°F(17.7°C) in St. Louis but I'm trapped in the salt mines so won't be enjoying it too much. 🙄 They're also doing construction outside of my office. 🤬
My friend Penguin stopped by this morning, it's the neighborhood stray I've been trying to make friends with. I always like Burgess Meredith's Penguin character and it fits the cat.
