Maybe we should have National Service for older voters too? Those approaching, or just past, retirement age. I wonder if that group of voters would eagerly support “compulsory volunteering” if it involved them too?

I wish I could say that the election of a Labour govt in July would make any difference to the outcome of this abhorrent situation. But Starmer gives me no hope whatsoever that people will stop being treated like dogshit just because they or their parents weren't born here.
If anything I fear things will get even worse because the far-right press we have are going to ramp up their foreigner-bashing rhetoric even more, and Starmer is too spineless to stand up to it.
