Hey there, magical beings! 🌟

Ever felt like a total poser with your craft? Boy, can I relate! My account gives me ALL the imposter syndrome feels, especially when folks hit me up for my take on things. It's equal parts awesome and weird because it means people actually dig what I say—even though I’m no Hermione Granger cramming in the library.

My knowledge? It's a hodge-podge of spur-of-the-moment deep dives, half-finished books, social media scrolls, and cool convos. I’m mindful about not stepping on closed practices, but whew, do I struggle with all the intricate mythology and holidays existing out there.

My book of shadows is a glorious mess, and my spellwork? Limited, but it works for me. My ADHD brain thrives on hands-on learning, and I've realized this isn't wrong—just different. Sometimes, witchcraft feels like an academic fortress, but my own personal vibes (UPG, if you’re into the jargon) have made it way more down-to-earth and do-able.

Guess what? I’m finally kicking out that nagging fraud-voice from my head. My practice rocks for me, and my deities? No complaints.

TL;DR: I freestyle my witchy ways with a sprinkle of ADHD. Traditional research? Not my jam. But that doesn’t make me—or you—a fraud. Embrace your unique path!

Sending sparkles and good vibes your way✨🦄

I’m 100% that witch!

This Quote from the Aeneid is really interesting. Basically Virgil is calling on the Muses to give him the inspiration to fill the gaps in his historical sources. Because his sources don't cover everything he wants to do in his poem he's requesting aid from goddesses who can remember. This might be an artist winking at the audience while admitting that he's making a lot of this up, or it might be an example of seeking inspiration, or personal gnosis from a divine source.

#Celtic #WyrdWednesday: In ancient #Ireland „the role of a physician was a hereditary one. He passed down his skills and knowledge to his offspring, and often to apprentices living with the family. In later years, this wealth of information was written down in manuscripts and books. The most famous of these is the Book of the O’Lees.“

Neither of mother
Nor of father was I formed;
My creation was created
Out of nine elements:
From fruit, out of fruits,
From the fruit of God’s beginning;
From Primroses and gossiping flowers;
From wood and trees’ pollen;
From earth, from the soil
Was I formed;
From Nettle flowers,
From the ninth wave’s water.

Many people believe that monotheism is inevitable - I actually believe #polytheism is inevitable.

The idea that the historical trend toward "oneness" is a theological event horizon in every religion doesn't make sense to me. Its plurality that's the ultimate state of existence and prior to creation: creation exists at the moment that a second thing comes into being in order to interact with the first, and no sooner.

So bc non-existence can't really exist, what does exist MUST be multiple.

Sometimes the little ant you see on the sidewalk has been to places and knows about things you will never know.

At night she travels down, deeper than your basement, deeper than the grave, deep as the deepest roots of the great trees, where the earth is always warm.

She may know of caverns and pockets of life, scale insects in root-lined galleries, hidden streams, seams of minerals.

For an ant? Secret riches beyond the wildest sugar dreams.

Emerging fiddleheads on my weekly walk. The transitional seasons are my favorite for walking, not only because they’re most comfortable but because there are so many changes to observe each week. I guess I’ve identified finally that the ferns here come up right after the hawthorn blooms, which is also when the red maples start dropping their flowers for young leaves.

Place glyphs or sigils behind a whiteboard, or a painting in your office that wouldn't be noticed by others.

I have in my office a whiteboard with sigils for memory, attentiveness, and focus, while also having a canvas painting a client once gave me that has glyphs on the back to obscure myself from others prying.

The magic is hidden in plain sight, so I focus that on my intent with the protections, instead of a powerful shield, it is a soft blurring of smoke.

Three Corners Pagan Circle is hosting a Witches' Walk in the Woods.

$7 Park Entrance Fee. Teens and adults. Cherry Hill Shelter. We will walk through the woods to collect items to make a natural altar. You will learn about indigenous plants and their magical uses and how to use natural formations/locations in your work. See pinned post for details.

Hope to see you there! I will be leading this event!

Samples of wild witching.
Part of the magic of working the woods is that the gathering process is just as important as the working itself. The energy you create in seeking out your tools amplifies your work. You are building an energetic connection to the outcome you desire.

What do you think about the creation/formation of new gods?

MsHearthWitch,
@MsHearthWitch@wandering.shop avatar

@Cat_LeFey 100% gods can be created.

Our world is not static. I reject completely the idea that the spiritual and religious reality is unchanging. That just.. makes no sense to me.

I think gods evolve, change, disappear and are created to reflect the realities of the people worshipping them.

I meant to share these earlier, but I had to drive 12 hours to get home from the location I was at, and then slept before working.

One of the things I did with the eclipse was that I brought my obsidian mirror, one of the tools I use for divination, but also for channeling one of the gods I work with for the purposes of banishing away negative or unwanted energy.

I chose to recharge it with the solar eclipse.
