@shoq go to the cop auctions. they always have tons of bikes. I know someone who got his own bike back (it was repainted. Who repaints a bike?) and he got it for $30. Check for the auction ads. Some places have them every 90 days. Fuck thieves.

@paulc @mattotcha My grandfather was so far gone he couldn’t recognize his own wife, & sometimes his own hand… One day, when she was visiting the facility and was crying, he spoke to her: Him:“Why are you crying?”
Her: Because you don’t even know who I am.
Him: “I know you. You are my wife, Kate, and I have always loved you.” He died the next day. I’ve heard so many similar stories of sudden clarity, and then demise.

@shoq @msnbc MSNBC putting the likes of him on platform to spread the bs, is why I watch less and less of that channel. The ridiculous and damaging are entitled to be heard and given equal status as information that we actually need to make major decisions in our lives. When they got one, one guy jumped into the water with a giant needle threaded with cedar twine, to stitch its mouth shut so it wouldn’t sink and take the canoe down. Indigenous people knew what courage was and what it took to survive. These sissy hunters with snow mobiles, helicopters or canned hunts, are just laughable.

So, I had surgery.

All those food issues I’ve increasingly suffered over the last 3-4 years now appear to be the result of a bowel blockage caused by surgical scar tissue that has formed since 2017.

I nearly waited too long to investigate & I am so grateful my surgeon pressured me to let him do surgery.

He operated laparoscopically and WAS DONE IN 45 MINUTES.

I lost 120 pounds trying to solve food-related issues, but if I had not, this quick surgery could not have been possible.
