@flexghost Beuhh, I swear, these MAGA Republicans are a one trick pony.

I honestly don't care if someone is addicted to prescription painkillers if that's what it takes for them to function without pain.

This puritanical idea that we should not use or have access to medicines that work because "drugs bad" gets people killed across multiple types of care.

@gwynnion Agreed, primarily by making people addicted to the drugs to function to seek out substitutes that are a lot more harmful.

I'd rather people addicted to painkillers than heroin, at least the painkillers are regulated in some form.

    @mxtthxw It's hard to convince little Timmy to go carry out a shooting against black people when his Dad is Black, Mom has Black friends/inlaws, and Paternal Family is black. When he learned about the real history of the US, and when his Mother and Father passed on to him/her values to frown upon racism.

    There are probably parts I missed, but this is what I sum it up to.

    @mxtthxw yeah, but you have to remember America is self segregated. People live in their small towns or Culdesacs and make anything they don't understand bad.

    That is the root of the issue here. The communities that once existed are gone. It was replaced by a Walmart. everyone just stays in, gets stuck in propaganda loops on mainstream social media, then they go to far right "scholars" to get half assed arguments to justify their hate.

    Luckily, I can spot those types a mile away..

    I gave an rpi 4b, I started looking into self hosting my own instance as well.

    If youre trying to share music or any recorded content: I recommend making a Funkwhale instance. I set up my own Funkwhale instance recently. I've mostly been testing it, so I haven't used it officially.

    The most underrated person on this instance is @MuSociety . This man has been sharing links to FREE, good quality, and SAFE VSTs daily.

    It is great having these links, because if you search for them yourself, you risk viruses or going to shady websites.

    My production quality has improved significantly, because I'm not using the same VSTs every hip hop producer uses.

    Bruh, the more I work for these shit companies, the more communist I become.

    And im not even a communist, but I'm tired of these jobs treating their workers like shit and expecting people to stay.

    Employers: "Woow, why do we have a high turnover rate? Ppl nowadays are lazy!"

    Workers: "No, people aren't lazy, people want to work, people just don't want to work for YOU."

    If you want to retain workers, treat them with respect. It's as simple as that!

    Yes, I take it personally when you say you won't vote, or vote for the Dem. Why? Because among other things, the fascists tried to commit a Black GENOCIDE during the pandemic.     The answer to all of that is: they didnt give up. They accepted the odds, and fought for what they beleived in. If they adopted your attitude by thinking: "not possible" during adversity, how could anything have changed? It all starts with our attitude, which im seeing is constantly negative. (4/6)

    We need true reform in this country. We had a chance twice to do it; in the aftermath of the civil war, and the aftermath of the civil rights movement, both times new systems were created that were slightly better than the last, but still bad for everyone unless you were CIS and white. (5/6)

    Today we live in the aftermath of the civil rights movement, although we passed laws outlawing it, racism, sexism (every ism) is still rampant. We are all still segregated in space and thought, and it only got worse after 9/11 when the government stepped up and began doing groundbreaking violations of our rights to privacy under the guise of stopping terrorism.
