The charge nurse is a BITCH. Going on 2am and she's jerking me around about pain meds. Just had a "discussion" with her, she basically "informed me" about why I'm so unreasonable. When iin truth 3 of my 4 paain meds have been precipitously withdrawn, due to various reasons (too high Tylenol load, pharmacy can't deliver until morning, etc). AND she refused to shut door, when I asked her to shut door she left door open bc she "wants a witness of our conversatiion." But I cannot record. 1/2

Nursing Home Food Alert!! 🔥😧🔥😧🔥

This disgusting, beyond institutionally bad dinner, was served to us tonight at the long-term care/rehab facility where I currently live.

The place is having a genuinely tough time hiring someone to run the kitchen. But orders from McDonalds would probably be best until they get it sorted.

I did it! My #ReynaKAL is (almost) done! I just need to block. Am saving up for blocking mats, pins and wires. It came out at a relaxed 60" across the top, and I think with blocking I can get another 10"-15" in width. That was one serious game of yarn chicken! More pix posted below. Medical aide is holding shawl. She's a knitter too!

SEEKING APP ADVICE... I downloaded the Tusky app and now I get this "The access token was revoked" message when I try to use regular Mastodon. Even when I remove Tusky, I still can't get back in the old way. Can anyone advise me on how to regain my access to old Mastodon? And is it possible to have both?

I am recovering from a brain tumor and paralysis, living at longterm care/rehab center (unfortunately, pretty bare-bones sucky) while I learn to walk again.

I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT!!! #FallFinishAlong WIP #2 (of four) is DONE!

This is a shawl for my dear friend and medical advocate, Sazi. She chose the pattern - Tinsmith, based on the pressed tim patterns of a century ago. Yarn is Shibui Cima and Tweed Silk Cloud, both in caper.

This now goes to the blocking pile, and I'm on to #s three and four. 🥳🧶🌟💞

Here I am, chipmunk face from steroids, outside the NM Pain Center, where I go for chronic pain care.

Anyone dealing with that issue, I strongly recommend going to a pain specialist for care. It's a rapidly evolving field, and they have specialized training and certification. Well worth the effort!
