The main contradiction of liberal is that it has largely been shaped through a history of various forms of illegal civil disobedience against entrenched power structures.

Such civil disobedience is (retrospectively) seen as justified, and the people committing it are (retrospectively) seen as heroes. But, each successive generation is asked to believe that any further civil disobedience would be unreasonable.

You understand that this is a response to Israel’s illegal and unprovoked terrorist attack on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Syria, right?
Iran has a right to defend itself.
Now, Israel needs to stop using human shields by hiding its military bases in civilian areas.

Is the Iranian regime really so stupid to only launch a limited attack with easy to intercept Shahed drones (probably that will happen outside Israeli airspace) after which will have an excuse to destroy any military installation inside , the logic escapes me...

UN report deplores 'rapid deterioration' of rights in West Bank

Volker Turk, the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, said the use of unnecessary or disproportionate force against Palestinians in the West Bank was "extremely troubling".

The #OHCHR said it had also recorded mass arbitrary detentions, unlawful detentions and cases of reported torture and other forms of ill-treatment of Palestinian detainees. It said some 4,785 Palestinians had been detained in the West Bank since Oct. 7.
