@sewing I ran out of the handdyed green for the straps and binding. Do y'all like the handdyed brown or solid green?

Lemme see your WIP's (Works In Progress).

Mine is a modified geometric heart

Original pattern is from the book 'Cross-Stitch to Calm' by Leah Lintz , but I wasn't feeling the pastel colours so converted to Harley Q colours instead.

It's on Aida Count 14 (with 'magic' guidelines) so is going slowly. Am used to 11 count - but wanted something with a smaller footprint.

@skinnylatte This one is pretty random. A thrift store find. I love how it looks, and it has a pleasant weight. Too bad the winding mechanism is broken.

A vintage Paxette IA electromatic camera, a lump of steel with some faux leather, selenium cells and a mirrored viewfinder in which the photographer (me) is reflected.

A work in progress. This is going to be a sew on patch for mending something (but not for mending outdoor gear I think, that would need to be lightweight and waterproof. I might fix it to my backpack for decoration). You can tell by the messy embroidery that I'm new to this. Now to see if I can fill in the tent a bit neatly. Whatever the result, I'm having fun making it!

Off to a job interview this afternoon. Shall I
A) leave well in advance, be half an hour early and slosh around some office buildings trough half molten snow for 20 minutes, getting cold and misarable in the process, or
B) Take a well timed train, discover the connecting bus doesn't run, wait for the next one and be 5 minutes late?

Pic of the day: Holga CFN 120 and Lomography CN 400 film. I dropped the film pulling out of of the camera, causing it to unspool for a bit, but the resulting light-leaks actually added a nice touch to this shot.
