@MAKS23 How this is not considered an act of war is ridiculous. Like MH17. Like the killings of dissidents and civilians on our soil. The attempted sabotage of IOC and MH17 investigations. The meddling in our politics through dark money.

I guess our economies (read: billionaires' yachts) that has been intertwined with Russia's comes first. As long as our billionaires do not suffer from all this, all is fair game.

Ah, too bad. I respect Eugen's work and wanted to give the larger instances time, but will look for another instance now.

Is there any site where I can filter instances that have a higher maximum character limit than the default 500?

https://fedipact.veganism.social/?v2 and https://fedidb.org/network do not seem to have this particular filter.

If I have to move, I'd like to move to one that blocks Threads (and Bluesky) and have a higher limit.

And accepts my fuming toots condemning nazis :catjam:

    @realTuckFrumper Trapped, branded, spoiled, stained, marked. Willingly put yourself in the line to serve a traitor. His treason was well known before he was becoming a candidate. Willing to sell out the US and allies for parts and once he was in the highest office, he did.

    They should all be shunned. No book deals, dance offs, media presence, benefits, secret service protection.

    If it was up to me, they'd be dumped right over in some deserted place with no amenities or way to come back.

    Well, this is a transcendent level of evil: Facebook bought a VPN company and deployed it, in part, to spy on its competitor's users.

    It's a reminder that VPNs have their own risks, beyond technical ones if operated incompetently -- namely, that you have to trust the VPN company itself.

    @dangillmor While it is proven that Facebook had a leading role in successfully meddling on democratic elections and still allows elements that disrupt our societies with disinformation, it is cynical that this company still has not been disbanded yet and their whole MT prosecuted. Thankfully, I live in the EU, which for now, still has better regulatory power over these tech behemoths and the US.

    Russian forces have almost doubled first-person view drone (FPV) attacks in three southern regions of Ukraine over the past day, Ukraine's Southern Command reported on March 24.

He has left our country in shambles and have paved a way for a Russiapologist to win the last elections. It's that his government is supporting Ukraine as much as we can, but that could stop once Wilders can form a new far right government.

    And all big media here finds this totes acceptable and are enabling it. 🤮

    Does this need to be said? Never rent a printer. It barely makes sense for businesses (where it pays for maintenance of very complex machines), it definitely makes no sense for a home device.

    My Samsung laser is fine. Practically any Brother printer is more than fine.
