Tää Mastodonin web-käyttöliittymäkin sekoilee nykyään aika usein: hiiren klikkaukset ei mene oikeaan kohteeseensa eli linkit ja muut elementit ei reagoi normaalisti. Tai kursorin alle hyppää jotain yllättäen juuri klikatessa tai kursori korostaa asioita, jotka eivät ole sen alla. Kerran taisi vilahtaa joku postaus kirjanmerkkeihin, kun klikkasin paljon ylempänä olevaa linkkiä. Tämä on ainoa sivu jolla olen huomannut ongelmaa.

@nen @rolle joskus kun käytin webbiselaimesta kännyssä ja tabletissa, tein bugirapsan kun se ei laskenut mukaan automaattisesti piiloutuvia palkkeja. Eli jos scrollaat, saattaa joku elementti piiloutua. Silloin se laski väärin klikkikohdan sen palkin koon verran. Olisko sama taas?

@fedora does it mean that one could rebase from IoT to CoreOD? I installed years ago IoT, but don't really need zezere. Actually it kept topping CPU for months, so I could just swap this vm to coreos if possible.

Damned I'm not Apple compliant. I found my sister's iPhoto library from backup, and try to bring it on her Photos app. It would import ~95k pictures into one flat album, loosing the albums made in iPhoto. Piece of shit app, couldn't they make some smart import which remains the albums? Or don't I just find the right button?

I’ve been ”different” my whole life. I’ve felt like an outcast. I was that quiet and awkward kid who was into computers, Linux and ”odd things”. I studied French and Spanish as only boy in the class because on top of Finnish, English and Swedish they teach in schools here as mandatory, I was into languages on top of Tolkien’s Elvish and Lovecraft’s R’lyehian. Girls said out loud that I was weird and had a sour face whenever they had to so pair studies with me.

I was never part of the cool kids’ group. Not really. I never knew how to talk to other kids. My only friend was a kid that was into super heroes when I just liked to code. He kinda didn’t care for not to belong, but I did. I suffered from it. I got severely depressed.

What I’m trying to say is like the book title by Felicia Day: You're Never Weird on the Internet, but more than that: You are never weird on the Fediverse. I’ve found my place in the world and I thank you for it.

Can't figure out how to add mastodon-web.service logging to the Better Stack via Fluentd... Fluentd is completely new thing for me.

I mean this: sudo journalctl -u mastodon-web.service --all -f

I want to add that debug log to log tail. But even though everything is configured, up and running, logtail shows nothing. Nada.

Let's wait for the support to reply for a third time.

Mastodon Bird UI is now in version 2.0.0rc30. To this version I've been experimenting with the new 2024-03 v4.3.0-alpha.3 UI and @nileane Tangerine UI's compact header on mobile, thanks for the inspiration and shortcuts code-wise! :bunhdheart:

This version also includes some slight fixes, icons and other improvements.

The release v2.0.0 will be massive, but we're not there yet with Mastodon v4.3.0 and because I'm following the Mastodon mainline and there is no ETA, I'm taking it easy as well.

@rolle I figured it out. It's the dark reader plugin in firefox. I typically have it on, and changing light mode from android made it dissappear.
