Due to health problems (diabetes), I have to walk a lot. Sometimes it's boring. But I have started taking photos of city details with my phone camera. While I can see plant images almost everywhere, I'm still a bit blind in the city. I hope this will change over time.

Do you have any special memories with lilac flowers? When I see lilacs, I think about my childhood, my grandmother's name day (her name was Zofia) in May, when the lilacs were in full bloom. So many good memories. Maybe this photo will bring back your good memories, too.

I read “The Memory Police” by Yoko Ogawa some time ago. Residents of an unnamed island, living under an oppressive regime, experience the disappearance of random things. They must destroy all evidence of their existence and eventually, they will not remember that they ever existed. The comparison may be too far-fetched, but when I look at the world around me, I also experience a disappearance, mainly plants./ full text in ALT text of the photo.

  2. prepared healthy and tasty food for a whole day - since I know I have a high level of glucose I must eat regularly
  3. had a wonderful and long walk to the forest

Dahlias are one of my favourite flowers. They are such unique flowers. Something about these pretty dahlias makes me feel so nostalgic. I would like to share with you an image of a dahlia in sepia. The image devoid of colour still emanates warmth but is calm and soothing.

Sea Holly - one of my favourite plants. Not long ago I could find it in the meadows but now the meadows are disappearing and with them the sea holly. Instead, we have more and more houses, more concrete and asphalt. 😞

Sometimes I don't remember where my keys or phone are. But I remember perfectly how I took the photo. I first photographed this gladiola with my phone and processed it in some application on my phone. I liked the effect so much that I reached for my camera to take a photo and then looked for a way to repeat a similar effect in Photoshop.
