    @schwa It basically only adds the link to the quoted post to a new post, so there isn't really a way to opt out.

    @schwa Fair enough, you could probably offer opt-out/in for Ivory's specific implementation. This would make quoting admittedly more cumbersome. But the user could still just paste a link to the original post.

    Findest du es gut, dass es eine Alternative zu X bietet, die simpler ist als Mastodon und das Fediversum?

    Oder halt immer noch eine Plattform von Milliardär-Dudes?

    @samsteiner Öffne es höchstens 1x pro Tag für 2-3 Minuten. Hat ein paar spannende Personen, die leider nicht zu Mastodon gefunden haben.

    Sicherlich besser als X, mit dem AT Protocol auch Potenzial zur "Öffnung". Im Vergleich zu Mastodon fehlen aber noch viele Features.

    Hi, I'm stuck waiting on laundry to finish and am bored, so why don't I come on here and write some hot takes about YouTube?

    I mean, I can think of several reasons, but too bad I'll do it anyway.

    Knowing the leanings of the folks on this particular platform this is likely to spark some debate, but note that I'm not trying to paint YouTube as a saint - in fact, the first thing I want to talk about is a strategy they've taken which puts me and all YT creators in a weird place:

    Did some comparisons between stock and a -40mV undervolt on my . Really happy with the results!

    Temperature gains are often enough to keep the fans at a lower RPM 🥰

    Using Bean to connect right now, which is pretty good, but unfortunately isn’t great on iPad (which is where I did the majority of my Redditting in the past).

    Trying out some clients. I dont think they are as good as the iOS ones, in general. Of course, this could just be my Apple-way bias, but switching between timelines and lists is way clunkier, for example.

    Megalodon is the one I like best so far. If you're on Android, what's your favourite app?

    @john Really like using Focus for Mastodon thus far. The most reliable in keeping your spot in the timeline.
