@gurubert are you sure? https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/releases/index.html still talks about Reef as being the latest release. There's no tarball in https://download.ceph.com/tarballs/ either...

@gurubert I am also surprised that the 24.04 release notes claim they updated Ceph to 19.2.0 (Squid).

Look, I finally caved. I had a networking scenario that was super easy to resolve using Tailscale that was a pain in the ass otherwise, and I finally got myself an account. It is a wonderful tool and as good as everyone said. I’m now starting the inevitable “broken-by-success” stopwatch and keep an eye out for things to switch to when that happens.

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Pendlerrad für eine Freundin. Es sollte ungefähr haben:

  • Getriebenabe
  • hydraulische Scheibenbremsen
  • Starrgabel
  • Dynamonabe

Buget: 2000€ maximal, weniger wäre natürlich lieber.

Serious question for those of you who still haven't ditched Slack as a primary means of work communication: why? I am sure there must be explanations for this, I just cannot think of any good ones.

@xahteiwi on the other hand, there are increasing complaints about inefficient communication and collaboration, because way too many conversations are held on private Slack channels or via DMs. That's another thing I observe quite frequently - people don't feel comfortable asking questions or raising concerns in front of a broader audience.

Die unseres Opel Corsa-e ist jetzt im überraschend stark eingebrochen. Der Bordcomputer geht bei 100% SOC optimistisch von 350 km aus (wie auch im Sommer), aber auf einer Strecke von nicht mal 200 km (Autobahn, 110-115 km/h Reisegeschwindigkeit) musste ich einen Ladestopp einlegen, um überhaupt anzukommen. Enttäuschend.

Ich bin ja mal gespannt, wie konsequent die Airlines mir ihren Forderungen nach Schadensersatz in diesem Fall sein werden.
